ABOUT THE #GFDF
The Greek Folk Dancing Festival (#GFDF) is the first of it's kind in the UK aimed at dancers, dance enthusiasts and the general public who have an interest in Greek folk dancing, authentic Greek folk music and culture.
It's primary objective is to provide a folk dance platform accessible to all Greeks and non Greeks throughout the UK whilst at the same time helping to promote the Greek culture through music and dance and creating a open social community amongst dancers and enthusiasts from all backgrounds and dance groups.
The festival organisors work primarily with musicians from Greece and the UK to help bring unique multi regional Greek folk music to the UK's Capital, London. The GFDF is an opportunity for people of all ages and abilities to participate and discover Greek folk music and dance in the UK.
