PRIVATE LESSONS
Private lessons are a great alternative to the classroom-based lessons, and are a popular choice for individuals who want to brush up on dancing in time for their wedding or want to incorporate learning to dance as part of a private event.

Our instructor is available for private lessons and caters for a variety of student requirements, from one-to-one lessons right through to large groups. We offer private lessons for wedding parties, hen parties and stag (bachelor) parties as well as corporate events as listed below.
Private Lesson Fees
Students can book single or multiple lessons in either 1 or 2 hour long slots depending on the dances they wish to learn and the length of time needed. The cost per lesson is outlined below:

4+ people / £100 base charge + [£10 per person]

Private lessons may be booked for a variety of different reasons and span :

One-to-one
For an undivided Greek dancing experience focusing on just your own requirements.

Couples
Looking for that first wedding dance opener? Or just want to try something new together.
Small groups
Looking to prepare and learn new dances with your close friends.
Large groups
That may be looking to try something different. This could be a team building event at work?
Parties & events
Hen parties, stag (bachelor) parties, wedding party preparation with friends or guests.
Location, Location, Location...

Our dance instructor can do house calls for the private lessons at no additional cost if within reasonable travel distance in London, but if you find that you are limited by space and would require/prefer a dance studio, then please let us know when you send through your enquiry and our instructor will help you book a dance studio from we recommend and have used in London . Please note that studio's are subject to availability and come at an additional cost to the instructor fees above.
If you have bespoke (non-standard) requirements, do get in touch, let us know the details and we will do our best to accommodate your request. If your request involves significant travel, please expect an increase in fees by at least 30% in addition to any travel costs.
Jack is a great dance instructor, very engaged and personable, with an impressive depth of knowledge in Greek dances. He accommodated our (pre-wedding) requirements in a very short notice and having just come back from his wedding.
He has a passion for what he does and makes the classes enjoyable while still pushing you enough to make great progress every time.
Overall, a thoroughly enjoyable experience and would highly recommend him to anyone looking to learn Greek dances, either in group or private lessons.
Jack came to my hen party to teach all the girls and women attending my wedding some Greek moves! It was so much fun! Everyone joined in and couldn't have had more fun! Most of the girls had not done any Greek Dancing before, or even any choreographed dancing at all, but everyone had picked up the steps of four or five dances before the lesson was over.
Jack was fun and friendly and pitched the lesson just right. He provided all the music and made the day really special, even taking a group photo with us at the end.
I had the pleasure of having Jack as my Zeibekiko private lesson teacher ahead of my wedding this past June-July!
We started from scratch and he was really really good! Managed to get me to a level where I could confidently finish a whole song on my own - not pre scripted but actually learning from basic principles!

In my opinion, there is only one person in London to go to for private Greek dance lessons - and that's Jack! Not only is he a hugely talented dancer himself but he is an extremely patient teacher with a genuine understanding for people with all levels of dance experience.
He has great knowledge of traditional Greek dance and teaches style as well as routines so even if you miss a few steps, you're guaranteed to still look good!
Jack is a natural with people and I couldn't have felt more comfortable being taught by him. I'm already making plans to book him for more private classes in the future!
