We are thrilled that Figoura Greek dance classes are getting such positive media reviews and feedback from our student base as well as many folk dance enthuthiasts, musicians and friends of Figoura.
Back in 2014 we listened to our students and made a change to our large central London beginner classes to ensure the student : instructor ratio was more favourable to students. The change was very well recieved, and it provided essential flexibility to all of our students around their own work commitments and gave our instructors the ability to improve their supervision and tuition of students in our classes.
We feel that the time has come again to make a change and shake-up our well established tuition system. This time, our focus has moved onto our Intermediate/Advanced students, by offering an additional class during the week. We think this is going to have a huge impact on our students' learning capabilities at this more advanced level, as well as provide additional flexibility and assist with our over subscribed advanced classes.
Therefore, we are really pleased and excited to announce our new Intermediate/Advanced class being held on Wednesday evenings from 7:30 - 9:00pm.
Our news doesn't stop there. We have also sought and combined this launch with what we feel are some of the finest dance studios in London, and guess what? They are only a short walk from our RADA location, making these classes just as easily accessible for our students. (More details coming on that soon!) We are also the first and only Greek dancing organsiation at the venue who are also really excited about having us. They have understood our dance requirements perfectly, after months of close collaboration and have lined up a stunning studio which is perfect for our fast- paced, and demanding intermediate/advanced dance classes. We think students new and existing are going to love it! So what are you waiting for? There is no better time to join Figoura.
We are opening up our registration early for Term 3. Actually, it's open right now! So if you are interested in the classes on either Wednesday or Thursday or even both, then we strongly advise you reserve your space early, as we have been over subscibed in the past.
If you are a beginner or touching on intermediate level, we recommend the Monday or Tuesday classes.
